Thèmes de recherche
Analyse de la motricité en référence aux sciences de la complexité, notamment la théorie des systèmes dynamiques. Contrôle et apprentissage moteur des habiletés complexes, plus particulièrement des coordinations motrices, avec des applications sur l'optimisation de la performance et l'analyse de l'expertise, la conception de dispositifs de formation et l'ergonomie de matériel sportif. Behaviour analysis as regards sciences of complexity, notably dynamical system theory. Research focused on biomechanics, motor control and motor learning in complex skills, especially inter-limb coordination, with applied research on (i) performance optimization, (ii) expertise analysis, (iii) aids for the conception of equipment, and (iv) aids for the development of training programs

Porteur principal (avec Keith Davids) de l’e-lab (laboratoire dématérialisé) Ecological Dynamics & Sport Performance ; acronym : « e-ecod » (http://eecod2014.wix.com/e-ecod) qui a pour but de créer une plateforme internationale d’échange de ressources (e.g., données, publications, algorithme & software, équipement) sur la thématique des systèmes complexes en relation avec les habiletés perceptivo-motrices dans les activités physiques et sportives. Cet e-lab fait parti d’un réseau d’e-lab et e-department dont le programme UniTwin Digital Campus & Complex System (DC & SC) est soutenu par l’UNESCO (http://unitwin-cs.org).
Membre du laboratoire CETAPS, EA 3832 de la Faculté des Sciences du Sport et porteur du projet « Contexte & Condition de pratique ».
Membre de l’Institut des Systèmes Complexes en Normandie (ISCN) (http://iscn.univ-lehavre.fr) que nous avons inauguré en mars 2010 et qui est devenu un GIS en 2012. Cet institut a émergé du projet structurant « Réseau d’Interaction et Système Complexe » (RISC) dans le cadre du GRR « Transport logistique et Traitement de l’Information ». Ce projet fédérateur permet de structurer la recherche au niveau régional entre INSA, faculté des sciences, facultés des sciences du sport et faculté des SHS.
Membre du Comité Scientifique de la Fédération Française des Clubs Alpins de Montagne (FFCAM).
Pour le CQD 2017-2021, je coordonne le Master STAPS, mention EOPS qui regroupe deux parcours : un parcours « Analyse de Jeu & Entraînement Sportif » ; un parcours « Analyse de Jeu & Big Data », clairement orienté vers les Sciences de Données : 100h en M1 et 100h en M2 permettant l’acquisition de compétences en programmation, visualisation de données, traitement du signal et d’image, statistique supervisé et non-supervisé, fouille de données et modélisation. Ces compétences devraient permettre aux étudiants de postuler sur des emplois relatifs à l’analyse de jeu dans les sports collectifs professionnels au sein de clubs professionnels et de sociétés de service spécialisées dans l’analyse de jeu.
J’ai piloté avec C. Tourny-Chollet le montage de la maquette et l’organisation pédagogique du Master STAPS pour la Spécialité EOP en co-habilitation avec la Faculté des Sciences du Sport de Caen. Depuis, je suis responsable de la Spécialité EOP du Master STAPS à la Faculté des Sciences du Sport de Rouen qui accueille 35 étudiants de M1, 15 étudiants de M2.
Membre du Conseil Scientifique (depuis 2008) et Vice Président de la Commission de Spécialiste (depuis 2013) pour l'UFR STAPS Rouen.
Membre du Conseil Universitaire des Relations Internationales (2009-2013) où est discuté la politique internationale de l’établissement, les modalités de collaboration et de financement de projets structurants et collaboratifs. De plus, je suis responsable des relations ERASMUS pour la Faculté des Sciences du Sport de Rouen depuis 2004. A ce titre je promeus la mobilité des étudiants à tous les niveaux (L.M.D.), notamment par la réalisation de thèse européenne, et la mobilité du personnel pour des missions d’enseignement et de recherche.
Jury des écrits concernant les Sciences de la Vie et activités physiques pour le concours d’entrée à l’ENS d’EPS à Cachan (2005-2013).
