Statisticien-méthodologiste de formation, j'ai été nommée Maître de conférences en septembre 2002, sur un poste intitulé "Statistiques appliquées à la médecine et à la biologie" à l'IUT de Caen, département Statistique et Traitement Informatique des Données (STID), sur l'antenne délocalisée de Lisieux de l'Université de Caen Normandie. En 2011, suite à une mutation interne, j'ai rejoint à l'UFR des Sciences Pharmaceutiques. Depuis septembre 2016, j'ai été nommée Professeur des Universités à l'UFR STAPS à l'université de Rouen Normandie.

En janvier 2012, j'ai rejoint l'unité mixte de recherche U-1086 Inserm - Université de Caen-Basse Normandie - Cancers & Préventions, rattachée à l'UFR de Médecine issu de la restructuration des équipes de recherche en cancérologie.
L'objet principal de mes recherches s'y est inscrit dans l'axe : Vivre avec un cancer. Qualité de vie du patient et de ses proches de cette l'équipe de recherche et plus particulièrement dans les thèmes "évaluation de la qualité de la vie des patients après le cancer" et "exploration d'effets secondaires spécifiques". J'interviens dans les différentes études au niveau de la méthodologie statistique, que ce soit dans le choix du plan d'expérience (design de l'étude, calcul du nombre de patients à inclure dans l'étude pour détecter un effet statistiquement significatif et cliniquement pertinent), la rédaction des protocoles et des demandes de financements, l'analyse des données (choix des modèles statistiques pertinents et mise en oeuvre), l'interprétation des résultats, et la valorisation des travaux (communications & publications) dans le cadre de collaborations pluridisciplinaires avec des cliniciens, neuro-psychologues,...

L'analyse des données longitudinales après le cancer permet d'étudier l'évolution de la qualité de vie, des effets secondaires (fatigue, atteinte cognitive, ...) des patients au cours du temps après le traitement. La qualité de vie, la fatigue et les atteintes cognitives subjectives (ressenties par le patient) sont évaluées par des auto-questionnaires validés alors que les atteintes cognitives objectives (atteintes réelles) sont évaluées par des neuro-psychologues à l'aide de tests psychométriques. L'analyse statistique des données recueillies nécessitent des modèles à mesures répétées et à effets aléatoires en présence de données manquantes informatives ou non (modèle mixte, modèle de mélange pour données longitudinales, ...).
Une voie de recherche à explorer dans la prise en charge des effets secondaires de la maladie et de ses traitements, notamment à long terme, est l'impact de la pratique sportive dans le cadre d'un programme adapté.

Les enseignements que j’ai réalisés en statistique vont de l’initiation aux outils statistiques à l’enseignement de méthodes/modèles très spécialisés : statistiques descriptives, probabilités, techniques de sondages, estimation et tests d’hypothèses paramétriques et non paramétriques, régression linéaire, analyse de la variance, modèles GLM, modèle de données de survie, modèles hiérachiques/mixtes, statistiques appliquées à des problématiques industrielles (règles d’élaboration d’un échantillonnage, cartes de contrôle en fabrication), statistiques appliquées au ”Développement Clinique du Médicament” (phases I et II).


Mes enseignements à l'Université de Rouen, dans l'UFR STAPS, sont principalement autour des disciplines statistique-informatique-méthodologie de la recherche mais également en lien avec mes thématiques de recherche en cancer, qualité de vie, soin de support (Activité Physique Adaptée). J'interviens également dans l'UE dopage et nutrition du Master "Evaluation et Optimisation de la Performance". Mes interventions sont situées de la 2ème année de licence à la 2ème année de master.
